Luxating Patella/Trick Knee/Floating Kneecap is a common medical condition among one and miniature breeds, although larger dogs like Labs could be susceptible. Basically, the dog's kneecap is developed of its groove and most dislocates. The dislocation causes they to walk straight-legged or hop/skip faraway from walking normally.
